These online courses feature the same content as the hospitality management textbooks used in colleges and universities worldwide. Each courses includes a 100-question final exam that leads to a course completion certificate for those who score 70% or higher.
The American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI), which began in 1953 as a provider of distance learning courses for hospitality professionals, continues to offer hospitality employees convenient options for career development and independent learning. Ten of AHLEI’s most popular courses are now available for purchase directly from AHLEI’s shopping cart. Titles include:

241--Management of Food and Beverage Operations
333--Managing Front Office Operations
338--Managing Housekeeping Operations
270--Marketing in the Hospitality Industry

354--Training and Development for the Hospitality Industry
357--Managing Hospitality Human Resources
These online courses feature the same content as the hospitality management textbooks used in colleges and universities worldwide. Students completing their exam with a score of 90% or higher earn a certificate “with honors.” Distance Learning courses are $200 for AH&LA members.
