All who participated in the survey own at least one pet. The following are some of the results as of March 2005:
• 64% would be more likely to lengthen their stay if given the opportunity to travel with their pets.
• 78% stay at designated pet-friendly hotels or lodging at least once a year.
• 39% say it is “difficult to find pet friendly lodging”
• 86% travel with dogs.
• 47% travel with dogs over 30 pounds.
