 The 11-story Clarion Hotel Tampa Westshore, located at 5303 West Kennedy Boulevard in the heart of the Westshore district overlooking Tampa Bay, is now open.
The 250-room hotel features spacious rooms and suites with king, queen and double beds and top-of-the-line features including a rooftop ballroom with views of the city of Tampa and the bay.
The Clarion Hotel Tampa Westshore is owned by Van Tampa Plaza Hotel Inc. and operated by InnDeavor Development Corporation, both located in Wesley Chapel, Fla.
The Clarion Hotel Tampa Westshore, formerly known as the Park Plaza hotel, underwent a $3 million renovation last year that included remodeling guest rooms and suites in an Italian Art Deco motif including all new furniture, carpeting, window treatments, bedspreads, along with 27-inch cable TV, in-room coffee makers, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, data port, high-speed internet access, comfortable seating area and large work desk.
Hotel features include an outdoor swimming pool; Café Luna, a 100-seat restaurant that offers American cuisine for breakfast, lunch, dinner and room service; the Eclipse lounge and rooftop ballroom/meeting facilities with scenic views that can accommodate up to 400 people.
The Clarion Hotel Tampa Westshore is two miles from Tampa International Airport and five miles from downtown Tampa. The hotel is conveniently located near many restaurants, shopping and entertainment spots in addition to being near all central Florida beaches and attractions. Raymond James Buccaneers Stadium is four miles from the hotel. International Mall is two miles away. The hotel is 12 miles from Adventure Island and Busch Gardens, 18 miles from St. Petersburg and 21 miles from Clearwater Beach.
