McLEAN, VA – July 30, 2003 - Crestline Hotels & Resorts announces the appointment of Michael West as General Manager at the Hilton Garden Inn Virginia Beach Town Center. Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. will manage the hotel. The property is scheduled to open in November 2003.
Mr. West has been with Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. since 1991. Among his various positions with the company, he most recently served as the Director of Convention Services and Convention Center Manager at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott. “Mike has earned this position through his hard work and dedication in serving our customers,” states David L. Durbin, President & CEO of Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. “His knowledge of the Hampton Roads area and his hands-on operational approach will certainly allow him to lead our Hilton Garden Inn Virginia Beach Town Center to a successful opening and beyond!”

About the Hotel
The seven-story, 176-room Hilton Garden Inn, Virginia Beach Town Center is part of a planned public/private development that will consist of several office buildings, retail outlets and a performing arts center. The City of Virginia Beach selected Armada/Hoffler as Master Developer of its Town Center. Barceló Crestline was selected as the joint venture partner and Crestline Hotels & Resorts will manage the hotel. A variety of amenities will be offered for both the business and leisure traveler. Features include over 3000 square feet of meeting and event space, a complimentary 24-hour business center, guestrooms with an oversized work desk plus two telephones and high speed Internet access.
