Homewood Suites by Hilton Hotel Opens in Orlando, Fla.

ORLANDO, Fla. May 13, 2003 Homewood Suites by Hilton(R), the national brand of upscale all-suite, residential-style hotels, announces the opening of the 122-suite Homewood Suites by Hilton hotel near the popular theme park Universal Studios Florida(R) in Orlando.
The Homewood Suites by Hilton Orlando-Nearest to Universal Studios is owned and managed by Buffalo Lodging Management Associates.
The newly constructed hotel represents another addition to the growing roster of the more than 120 Homewood Suites by Hilton hotels.
"Being located in the heart of Orlando's entertainment district and only one mile from Universal Studios Florida(R), makes our hotel a great setting for vacationing families and business travelers who desire an opportunity to have easy access to Orlando's great attractions and businesses, without the hassle of traffic or a long drive," said Todd Chandler, hotel general manager.
"Our new facility has been created specifically to meet the needs of travelers who need to stay at a hotel for an extended amount of time and who may require specialized services and amenities, such as an executive business center and complimentary grocery shopping service(a) provided by the hotel," he added.
"To make travel to various attractions in Orlando even easier, soon our hotel will have a special feature -- the Universal Destination Kiosk," said Chandler. "The attendant at the kiosk will be able to print tickets to Universal Studios Florida, Sea World(R) Orlando and Wet-N-Wild(R) and arrange free complimentary transportation for our guests to these destinations."
The five-story Homewood Suites by Hilton Orlando-Nearest to Universal Studios offers residential-style one-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens and spacious sleeping and living areas that are large enough for work, study, entertaining or relaxing.
Other attractive guest amenities include a daily complimentary breakfast buffet in the hotel's hospitality center -- called the "Lodge," an evening Manager's Reception Monday through Thursday with a complimentary light meal and beverages(b), exercise facilities and a 24-hour Suite Shop(R) convenience store.
Additional hotel amenities include an outdoor heated pool, videocassette players, on-demand movies and 698 square feet of meeting space. Each suite of the hotel has a fully equipped kitchen, featuring a microwave oven, full-size refrigerator, twin-burner stove, dishwasher and all the necessary pots, pans and utensils. Each suite also contains a remote-controlled television, an iron/ironing board, and two telephones with dual lines. Most suites have high-speed Internet access available to the guest at no extra charge.
The Homewood Suites by Hilton Orlando-Nearest to Universal Studios' address is: 6624 Hospitality Way. The hotel is one mile from Universal Studios Florida theme park and within walking distance of Orlando's entertainment district which includes many popular shops and restaurants. The Orange County Convention Center is also located near the new hotel.
