ORLANDO, FL (August, 2000) — Meetings & Conventions magazine recently announced The Rosen Centre (formerly the Omni Rosen) as a recipient of the 2000 Gold Key Award.
Winners of this award for excellence were nominated and selected by the readers of Meetings & Conventions based on overall professionalism and quality. This year marks the fourth time that The Rosen Centre has received the Gold Key Award since 1996.
“We’re honored to receive such a coveted award,” said Linda Vandegrift, the hotel’s Director of Sales & Marketing. “It demonstrates that our entire staff has continued to meet the standards of excellence necessary to win such important honors like the Gold Key Award.”
This year, 174 domestic and 39 international hotels and resorts were named Gold Key Award winners. The meeting planner voters selected the winning properties based on strict criteria, including: attitude of meeting staff; quality of meeting facilities; quality of guest services; quality of food and beverage service; proficiency of handling reservations; availability of technical equipment and range of recreational facilities.
All winners will be honored as part of Meeting & Conventions Gold Awards gala ceremony on November 10, 2000 in New York City.
The Rosen Centre, is a multi award-winning hotel adjacent to the nation’s third largest convention center.
