Four Seasons to Open in Seattle in Late October

Featuring 147 guest rooms and 36 Private Residences

Overview - The Standard for Intuitive, Personalized Service
Four Seasons returns to Seattle in October 2008 with a 21-story hotel and condominium tower in the heart of downtown, adjacent to Pike Place Market and Seattle Art Museum. The hotel's 147 guest rooms on floors 3 through 10, including 13 suites, all feature thoughtful touches, from ergonomic furnishings in natural woods to a bathroom mirror designed with integrated TV. The hotel's around-the-clock concierge service will tend to guests' every need by helping with dinner reservations, event tickets or recreational trips to experience the best of the Pacific Northwest-hiking, biking, golf, skiing, whale watching, sailing, kayaking, fishing and more.

Location - The Cultural Core of Downtown Seattle
Offering unobstructed views of Elliott Bay, the Olympic Mountains and the city skyline from the corner of First Avenue and Union Street, Four Seasons Hotel Seattle is located in the heart of downtown's cultural core. Pike Place Market, the recently expanded Seattle Art Museum and a state-of-the-art symphony hall are within just a few blocks of the hotel, as are destination retail, many of the city's finest restaurants and waterfront attractions such as the ferry terminal and aquarium. Business travelers at Four Seasons are within walking distance of the city's growing financial district.

Architecture - A Fresh and Modern Look for Seattle
The sleek, modern design of Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Seattle puts it among the most contemporary Four Seasons in the world. The exterior's glass, warm stone, aluminum and rich woods help the landmark building visually connect the Emerald City's famous waterfront to its equally famous skyline. The terraced, U-shaped design creates a dramatic patio facing mountain and water views. As the only major building in Seattle with a visible internal courtyard from the waterfront, Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Seattle stands out among downtown's shoreline. Situated above the hotel on the building's top 10 floors are 36 spacious and modern private urban homes.

Hotel Amenities - Water Views from Every Floor
ART Restaurant and Lounge combines a farm-to-table approach of using fresh, local ingredients with artful Northwest décor for signature dining experiences. ART's dynamic lounge for cocktails and light fare, interactive 24-seat counter for breakfast and quick bites throughout the day, main dining room and private event space flow seamlessly and share sunset views of Elliott Bay and the Olympic Mountains. More than 100 wines from the restaurant's 12-foot wine wall will be available by the glass. Four Seasons veteran and local chef Kerry Sear will fill the dual role of executive chef and director of the hotel's comprehensive food and beverage program.

A leading venue for smaller events, the hotel houses 10,564 square feet of function space, including six meeting/conference rooms and the city's premier ballroom with two-story floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the restaurant's same captivating water views.

In the eight treatment rooms at The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Seattle, including a couples' suite with fireplace and water views, guests can choose from Deep Forest Bliss, Emerald Rain and a variety of other calming and revitalizing treatments that put a modern twist on rituals indigenous to the Pacific Northwest.

A state-of-the-art fitness center with TechnoGym cardio and strength-training equipment opens onto the fourth-floor terrace, where an infinity-edge pool and open fireplace provide a tranquil outdoor retreat from the city's energy.
