Cendant's Hotel Division Announces Senior Appointments

 Cendant Corporation's Hotel Division today
announced several senior appointments and provided more details regarding its ongoing reorganization.
PARSIPPANY, N.J. (Nov. 15, 2001) Joe Kane, one of two newly appointed group presidents & chief executive officers,
announced that his direct reports will include Bob Foley, Travelodge president & chief executive officer; Mary Mahoney, Howard Johnson president & chief executive officer; and Steve Belmonte, Ramada president & chief executive officer. Kane will continue to serve as Days Inn president & chief executive officer until a successor is named. That person also will report to Kane.
Kane also announced the appointment of two additional direct reports, Nancy Poor as group vice president, marketing, and Dino Pallotta as group vice president, hotel services. Poor previously was Days Inn vice president of marketing, and Pallotta was Days Inn vice president of franchise operations support. Reporting to Poor will be marketing directors for the Days Inn, Ramada, Howard Johnson and Travelodge brands. Reporting to Pallotta will be a director of hotel services.
Bob Weller, recently promoted along with Kane to group president & chief executive officer, announced that his direct reports will include Keith Pierce, Wingate Inn president & chief executive officer, who will assume the additional responsibility of AmeriHost Inn president & chief executive officer. Weller will continue to serve as Super 8 president & chief executive officer.
Weller announced the appointment of an additional direct report, Tom McNulty, as group vice president, marketing. McNulty previously was Super 8 vice president of marketing. Reporting to him will be marketing directors for the Villager, Knights Inn, AmeriHost Inn, Wingate Inn and Super 8 brands. Weller said he soon would appoint a group vice president, hotel services.
Concurrent with today's announcements, Ken Rodgers announced his retirement as Villager president & chief executive officer. A search has begun for Rodger's successor, who additionally will serve as Knights Inn president & chief executive officer, reporting to Weller.
