 The Illinois Hotel and Lodging Association (IHLA) awarded their most prestigious honor to Mr. C.A. 'Bud' Cataldo, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hostmark Hospitality Group, at the 10th Annual Hospitality Luncheon held during the National Restaurant Association tradeshow at McCormick Place in Chicago.
Mr. Cataldo received the 2005 Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association Chairman’s Hospitality Award recognizing excellence in hospitality.
Bud Cataldo is renowned in the hotel and tourism industry as a hands-on leader of one of the foremost worldwide hotel management companies. As the founder of Hostmark Hospitality Group, his vast expertise was garnered from close involvement with the development, construction, financing, and opening of more than 75 hotels containing over 20,000 rooms during his 42 years in the industry. In addition to the IHLA Chairman’s Award, Bud has received the Lifetime Achievement Award by Roosevelt University’s Manfred Steinfeld School of Hospitality Management and the Michigan State Industry Leader Award.
