Hilton Hotels Corporation Awards Top Honors to Doubletree Hotel Bakersfield for Superior Customer Service
Hilton Hotels Corporation, one of the world's leading hospitality companies, today recognized the Doubletree Hotel Bakersfield as one of two properties to receive the company's Million$ Team Pride Award.
The Million$ Team Pride Award raises the performance bar even higher for our hotels and is an excellent way to reward our very best hotel teams for reaching their customer satisfaction goals, said Dieter H. More than 500 U.S. Hilton and Doubletree hotels across North America were reviewed in 2001 for this top honor, through a unique hotel performance tracking and analysis system known as the Balanced Scorecard. By collectively achieving 100 percent in eight measured performance areas on their Balanced Scorecard, every team member at the Doubletree Hotel Bakersfield and the other award recipient, the Inn at Penn in Pennsylvania, will share equally in a pool of $1 million (limited to a designated cap of $500 per team member).
