Boles awarded COO role after 18 months as executive vice president of sales and marketing
Pegasus Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq: PEGS) today announced it has named Robert (Bob) J. Boles, Jr. as chief operating officer. This appointment better reflects Boles’ current responsibilities for all sales and marketing, product management and strategy, and all service delivery functions within Pegasus. Dallas-based Pegasus Solutions is a global leader in providing technology and services to hotels and travel distributors.
Boles joined Pegasus in May 2003 after nearly 20 years with IBM in various sales, marketing and operational roles. By the mid 1990s, Boles had risen to vice president of sales and support for IBM Global Services, where he was responsible for revenues of $1.5 billion. In 2001, Boles launched AimNet Solutions, a leading technology services company.

A New Jersey native, Boles holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from the University of Scranton in Scranton, Pa. He is based in Pegasus’ Dallas headquarters.
