Prime Hospitality Corp. (NYSE: PDQ) announced that it has hired Loretta L. Venezia to be its Vice President of National Sales.
Ms. Venezia will be responsible for overseeing the national sales group and its efforts to sign key corporate accounts and drive revenue growth for the company.
"As Prime Hospitality continues to make strides in the marketplace and solidify its competitive position, we are constantly searching for creative new ways to attract corporate guests to our growing family of hotels," said A.F. Petrocelli, Prime's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "Loretta brings a perfect combination of industry savvy, contacts and a results-oriented approach that will keep our business going in the right direction. Her arrival coincides with the recent addition of 14 hotels to our new upscale, full-service brand, Prime Hotels & Resorts."
Ms. Venezia brings 19 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having held prominent positions with many of the larger organizations, including Hilton, Hyatt and Westin. She attended Seton Hall University.
