    Requirements:


    1.  Two years of related experience required.

    2. Associates degree or certificate in culinary arts issued by an accredited culinary school preferred.  Equivalent experience may be considered in place of degree or certificate where applicable.

    3. Ability to read, understand and follow standardized recipes, production sheets, and therapeutic and mechanically altered diets required.  Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and food services regulations preferred.

    4. Experience preparing a wide variety of foods, including soups, sauces, and gravies preferred.

    5. Good written, oral, organizational, and basic computer skills.

    Masonic Villages at Elizabethtown is seeking a full time Cook. 

    It is the responsibility of the Cook to provide the best quality dining service, through continuous training, to maintain an enjoyable dining experience for our residents in a clean, healthy, and safe environment. 

    We pride ourselves on the culinary creations served from our kitchens, and are looking for an experienced and passionate Cook to help support our team. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience preparing all cuisines, enjoys working in a busy environment and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively.
