    Requirements:

    • 5+ years engineering
    • 3+ years of AWS experience
    • CI/CD (Jenkins, Circle CI)
    • Know automation very well and love it! (Ansible)
    • Must be able to script (Bash, Python, Go, Java etc)
    • Virtualization and Orchestration experience (Kubernetes, Docker)
    • Experience with PostresSQL
    • Deep understanding of distributed web application architecture
    • Core Linux background
    • Experience supporting product dev teams
    • Familiar working in fast paced environments
    • Ability to travel to HQ in SanFran 1 week per quarter (travel and hotel paid for by company)
    • Strong soft skills
    • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

     


    Requirements:

    Our client a software startup that is just opening an office here in the East Valley as they are HQ'd in San Francisco, CA. They are VC backed/funded and are scaling as their product already has traction in the market. They will offer the chance to really cut loose on engineering, compensate at or above market, will offer options in the company and will allow you to work nearly full remote til the office is opened here in the East Valley. They will still be partial remote weekly once the office is open as they believe in finding senior level talent who doesn't need tons of daily oversight to get their job done.


    In this role, you will help really scale their infrastructure while automating as many things as possible along the way. You will also work with both ops and dev and will be involved in the build, deploy, release CI/CD aspect of things. You'll also evaluate new tools for the DevOps ground and constantly look at what can be down to further improve efficeincies. You should know all the in's and out's of AWS and also keep security best practices along the way.
