    Skills & Requirements

    • Minimum of 2 years sales/use tax compliance, audit, and research experience
    • Strong knowledge of sales and use tax laws
    • Prior experience in managing sales and use tax audits, conducting research, and supporting tax recovery opportunities
    • Public accounting a plus
    • Knowledge of Vertex and NetSuite a plus
    • Microsoft Office with a strong skills in Excel

    This position is responsible for the day-to-day processing of all sales and use tax functions, reporting to the Tax Manager.

    Description/Requirements
     

    • Oversee and co-lead the transaction tax operational compliance, which includes preparing and reviewing returns for accuracy.
    • Manage property tax and other non-income-based taxes, filings, and audits.
    • Lead sales and use tax audits, and other transaction tax related compliance of affiliated entities.
    • Review monthly tax accruals and effectively analyze general ledger account activities.
    • Research sales and use tax statutes, regulations, and court rulings.
    • Work with various internal teams, leading process efficiency projects and documentation.
    • Actively engage internal and external partners to answer tax queries and provide timely and accurate advice on transaction tax matters.
    • Assist in other accounting-related matters as needed
