     MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
    High School diploma or equivalent required.
    Valid driver's license is required.
    Clean criminal background check is required.
    Fluency in English, both verbally and non-verbally.
    Basic arithmetic skills.
    Provide legible communication and directions.
    Excellent problem solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
    Time management skills.
    A positive, energetic, professional attitude.
    Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
    Ability to work with minimal supervision.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
    Must be able to work under variable temperature conditions.
    Must be able to work under variable noise levels.
    Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift.
    Must have the ability to grasp, bend, and stoop; push or pull loads weighing up to 50 pounds; and lift/carry boxes and luggage.

    SHIFT AVAILABLE
    3PM-11PM and/or 4PM-Midnight

    Evenings, weekends and holidays are required

    Requirements:

    The award winning Baymont Inn & Suites Des Moines Airport Conference Center Hotel has immediate openings available for Full-Time Guest Services Representatives.     DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
    Perform all tasks on the shift checklist by the end of the scheduled shift.
    Create, modify and amend guest reservations in person and over the phone.
    Check guests in and out of the hotel.
    Answer incoming calls using correct telephone etiquette.
    Maintain knowledge of and comply with all policies and standards.
    Complete cross-training in Maintenance, Sales, and Housekeeping and be able to perform those job functions when necessary.
    Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
    Maintain positive and professional guest relations at all times.
    Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
    Adhere to all cashiering procedures, including maintaining a balanced drawer.
    Provide concierge services.
    Complete tasks related to the operation of the Baymont Pantry & Gift Shop, including stocking the gift shop and completing sales transactions.
    Operate the Baymont Shuttle van.
    Other tasks as assigned by management staff.
