    Job Description


    Job Purpose:

    Provide outstanding and professional Guest service on behalf of Aston Hotels & Resorts while performing Front Desk duties.

    Job Responsibilities:

    1.

    Process guest check-ins, check-outs, and collect payments. Process credit cards per Aston procedures. Responsible for accurate daily collection of money and preparation of daily reports. Assist with future reservations and guests that inquire about possible reservations.

    2.

    Answer property's incoming telephone calls and direct calls to appropriate personnel.

    3.

    Prepare work orders for housekeeping and maintenance departments when problems are reported by a guest. Follow-up with guests in regards about the work order they reported.

    4.

    Interface with the Owner Relations Manager and provide appropriate reports in relation to owners and/or owner's guests.

    5.

    Perform clerical duties such as typing, filing, recording, mailing and data input.

    6.

    Prepare arrival packets for incoming guests that include maps, key cards, amenity card, etc.

    7.

    Prepare reports for corporate accounting, front desk, and respective hotel departments.

    8.

    Maintain a clean and presentable work station as well as a friendly and courteous personal manner at all times.

    9.

    Be knowledgeable and share information about inquiries from guests.

    10.

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Job Qualifications:

    Education

    High school degree/diploma or equivalent

    Experience/Skills

    1 or more years experience in customer service and/or hospitaltiy. Ability to speak, read, write and understand English required.
