    As a Senior Manager, Strategic Distribution Partnerships in our consumer group, working from our headquarters office in Phoenix, Arizona, you will promote the Company's objectives by developing relationships with our strategic Online Travel Agent (OTA) partners that drive results. Focusing on analyzing the market and competitive environment across all of our key partners, you will be responsible for process improvement and new partner on-boarding. This role gives you the perfect opportunity to have a major impact on a leading organization by developing and leveraging relationships with staff, member hotels and strategic partners.

    A strong business savvy is needed to keep up and adapt to this dynamic and quickly changing environment.  Strong communication skills will not only enable you to interact with a wide variety of internal and external partners, but will also ensure that you function effectively within a matrixed environment.​ Project management skills will be essential to your success as you manage multiple projects, programs and/or processes to ensure the strongest outcome for the organization.

    Job Description

    Provide leadership to support Best Western Hotels and Resorts key objectives by developing relationships with our top level Online Travel Agent (OTA).  Strategically lead the team, collaborate with internal stakeholders and work with partners to optimize our relationships to the fullest extent.   

    Primary responsibilities:

    • Provide strategic account management
    • Understand sources of business and collaborate with internal and external teams to optimize key sources of business.
    • Provide thought leadership to evaluate partner performance and create appropriate action plans and goals
    • Manage team to enhance their skills and performance
    • Create and provide dashboard reporting on key partner metrics
    • Build and foster an environment for  strong cross department collaboration
    • Regularly presents to partners, peers, senior management, external corporate executives and/or board members.
    • Maintains quality service by recommending and following Company standards.

    Experience:

    • Minimum 5 to 8 years related, professional level experience in marketing or the hospitality industry. ​
    • HSMAI Certified Hospitality Digital Market Certification is a plus
    • HSMAI Certified Revenue Management Executive Certification is a plus

    Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. ​

    Skills:

    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.  Financial and budgeting acumen.

    Other Requirements:

    May travel up to 20% of work time.
