    The Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort is looking for a Full - Time / PM Pantry Cook to work in our Pointe In Tyme Restaurant Kitchen.
    We are looking for someone with open and flexible availability to work 8 hour shifts within the hours of (3pm - 11pm or 12am). Ability to work weekdays, weekends and holidays is required.
    Hourly wage of 12.45 per/hr plus great Benefits and Hilton perks!

    • Previous pantry experience required.
    • Must be able to obtain State Food handlers card, preferably by first day of work.

    What will I be doing?
    As a Pantry Cook, you would be responsible for preparing the line, makes desserts, salads all cold food items in accordance with recipes and established standards in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
    • To participate in the preparation and production of cold food items on the daily prep lists. Ensure quality, portion size, presentation, and organize of all prepared product by day / function / group name. To prepare the garnish for all pantry presentations.
    • Coordinate and utilize the proper handling of food and equipment used in the scope of pantry 1 responsibilities. Ensure that service areas and storage areas are clean, maintained and in proper working order according to Health Department and Hilton standards. Monitor the physical environment for unsafe conditions and correct them when found. Monitor all procedures and policies to ensure safety in accordance with Federal, State, Health Department, and company policies.
    • To seek the most efficient employment of your effort in the preparation, and storage of listed food product. Ensure proper appearance. To be responsible for knowing your schedule.
    • To be aware of activities and policies. To participate in standardized programs to include, but not limited to, cleanliness, appearance, maintenance, verbiage, safety training, service mechanics and standards
