    Job Description




    Produce the highest quality of cleanliness in guest rooms following established procedures. Treat fellow employees and guests with dignity and respect and uphold all company standards, policies and procedures.





    Job Responsibilities: Maximum of ten responsibilities, in order of percentage of time spend on functions from longest to shortest; do not list anything that does not represent at least 10% of the job's time. Please include supervisory responsibilities.



    1.
    Clean guest rooms, according to preset standards. Principal tasks include but would not be limited to vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning kitchens and making beds.



    2.
    Keep cart, linen room and equipment neat and orderly.



    3.
    Sweeping, mopping and occasional usage of 3 step ladder to reach Kitchen cabinets



    4.
    Provide information regarding the property and available services to guests promptly and courteously.



    5.
    Turn in immediately all articles found in rooms and handle according to Lost and Found procedures.



    6.
    Report maintenance problems immediately.



    7.
    Report to Housekeeping Office at the beginning of shift, pick up and sign out key, and return key when reporting to office at end of shift.



    8.
    Follow all safety and energy conservation guidelines.



    9.
    Report any unusual situations or suspicious activities to supervisor.



    10.
    Follow established chemical procedures



    11.
    Perform other duties as assigned.





    Job Qualifications: Describe the minimum qualifications needed to complete the job responsibilities.



    Education
    High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Knowledge of cleaning equipment, methods, and chemicals also preferred. Good communication skills required.



    Experience
    No initial experience required. Training program is two weeks with proficiency reached at approximately three months.

    Driver's License may be required
