    Requirements:

    Purchases materials for the hotel. Manages levels of supplies. Works with approved vendors to purchase needed materials. Establishes par levels of supplies need by hotel. Purchases maintenance and repair supplies for hotel. Follows approved standards and procedures in buying supplies. Researches prices and supplies of non-mandated items.


    What will I be doing?

    Assist in the daily operation of the storerooms to include, but not limited to, receiving and placing product, reconciling received items to purchase orders to verify accuracy, rotating stock. Receives and places products in their assigned storeroom location in an organized manner. Checks items received against purchase orders to verify accuracy of the order. Rotates perishable stock so that all food items are fresh.
    Check each item on the requisitions which may involve weighing, counting, verifying each item and checking them against specifications to verify accuracy and approvals for the order. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local and company regulations regarding storage, safety and sanitation.
    Conducts inventories as directed. Ensure all food, beverage and general merchandise items are listed on inventory lists.


    QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
    EDUCATION
    High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
    EXPERIENCE
    Some work experience in related field preferred. Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs frequently.
