    A Lobby Porter (Public Area Attendant) is responsible for cleaning and servicing guest lobby and restroom areas.

    What will I be doing?

    A Lobby Porter (Public Area Attendant) is responsible for cleaning and servicing guest lobby and restroom areas. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

    • High dusting around front entrance, furniture, light fixtures, counters, artwork, clean behind furniture, plants, vents, etc.
    • Clean front doors and touch up throughout day
    • Clean ledges, baseboards, all woodwork, flower arrangements, bell desk and front desk counter.
    • Clean brass railings with brass cleaner daily
    • Vacuum all carpet in lobby, stairs and hallway leading to back of house. Spot clean carpets. Brush or vacuum all furniture as needed; turn cushions
    • Sweep and mop floors.
    • Refill dispensers for toilet paper, seat covers, paper towels, soap, tampax, replace empty tissue boxes.

    What are we looking for?


    High School Diploma preferred


    • No experience required by hotel, specifically cleaning experience preferred.
    • Professional conduct, well groomed, friendly and courteous.
    • Ability to read and write English. Reliable and dependable.
    • Ability to follow through and carry out duties special projects as outlined.
    • Open to new ideas and new skills.


    All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available).
