    A wonderful career position awaits at a very successful hotel! This Convention Services Manager for the Sheraton Greensboro/Joseph S. Koury Convention Center works directly with clients and meeting planners on a timely basis to coordinate and service conference, convention, corporate and social groups with guest rooms and catered functions. The position will guide and assist with menu selection, beverage selection, room configuration, AV needs, up selling contracted food/beverage minimums, as well as associated activities and events while effectively communicating client/group needs to all hotel departments as they relate. The CSM is to promote and develop quest satisfaction and hotel profitability at all times while adhering to hotel policies and procedures. You will sell and service the dream!

    Job Requirements

    You must be professional in your approach with clients as well as the hotel team, with a minimum of 2-5 years experience in meeting/event planning with an excellent understanding of food and beverage. This position requires a highly organized individual who is creative and can multi-task as well as show a strong attention to detail. The ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people and calm nerves is essential. You should also have good computer skills and a confident can do attitude with a strong ability to be proactive to meet the needs of assigned groups.
