Director, Brand Partnerships Marriott, Sheraton & Delta Hotel brands provides leadership for the development and management of brand partnerships for these three critical brands in our portfolio. Responsibilities include developing the strategic direction, representing the Brands' business interests, building relationships with key executives at partner organizations, developing and managing the relationships and leading negotiations. The position requires strong relationship management, strategic thinking, planning, negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Thinking outside the box is an essential skill, as is the ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders across disciplines (e.g., Global Marketing, Finance, Global Operations, eCommerce, etc.)

to bring brand
experiences to life in ways that improve brand image metrics globally, drive engagement and loyalty through Marriott Rewards, and help create top-of-mind awareness and excitement around the brand with future generations of guests.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, or related major
8+ years of relevant professional experience in marketing or related function, demonstrating progressive career growth and pattern of exceptional performance.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
a Full Service Signature Brand Partnership Strategy
Leads the process of developing a new partnerships strategy for the brand in partnership with Brand Management, Brand Marketing, and Global Marketing (Buzz Marketing) which will include identifying categories of partners in addition to
Identifies specific business goals that partnerships can influence and improve
gaps in current partnership strategy
Develops global activation plan integrated into CRM/Rewards, PR, brand/operations, brand marketing,
Ensures respective brand leader supports all partnership direction before final partnership terms
existing partnerships to deliver on business goals
Evaluates current partners against strategy and decides if we should continue, change, or end the relationship(s) to focus on new partners
Acts as the key managing representative - "the brand ambassador" - for all accounts, providing direction for the accounts and relationship management
Identifies specific opportunities within existing enterprise-wide partners for Full Service Signature Brand activation
Partners with Brand Management, Brand Marketing, and Global Marketing (Buzz Marketing) teams to ensure clarity of positioning, understanding brand business objectives, and purposes and timing of related key initiative roll-outs
Participates in the development of public relations and promotional strategies that feature
new partnerships to deliver on business goals
Collaborates with consumer research team to identify areas for partnerships that evoke the essence of the brand and appeal to target consumers
Sources new partnerships in key categories to drive brand innovation, improve the overall guest experience, increase success (speed to market, acceptance) of new product and service innovation roll-outs and drive top line revenue.
Reviews partnership opportunities with Global Marketing team (Buzz Marketing) to ensure partnerships align to brand specific objectives without conflicting with
portfolio partnerships or vendors
Researches, identifies and initiates negotiations with U.S. and international partners.
Manages all aspects of contract and contract negotiations.
Ensures partnerships enhance new product offerings like Wellness, Technology, Kids, or Beverage and Food.
Leverages existing portfolio business partners (e.g., American Express, JP Morgan Chase) and airline partners to deliver against our strategy
PROFILE AND EXPERIENCEs
Experience in corporate marketing, partnerships, or agency side focused on partnerships or promotions.
Brand and/or Marketing experience providing working knowledge of five or more of the following areas: brand management, strategic alliances, direct sales, interactive/online services, advertising, promotions, hotel operations, loyalty marketing, and direct marketing.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful marketing strategies for brands
Demonstrated ability to maintain and grow business of complex hotels with effective marketing plans and programs
Excellent relationship management and
