    Job Description


    PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVE OF POSITION Ð
    To create a FUN environment for guests and associates on a busy, 10 acre vacation ownership Resort. This position is responsible for assisting with planning, coordinating and hosting all of the Activities for the Resort including events including hiking, exercise classes, and hosting events with a sound system. A preferred candidate would also be comfortable driving a 15 passenger van. (Does not require special permit)
    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function of the job satisfactorily.
    1. Support the Manager with all tasks but with special emphasis on running activities of all sorts. These events should appeal to all guest types and ages. The candidate should be comfortable on a microphone, in a swimsuit hosting pool games, dancing with guests, etc
    2. Assist in creating new events seasonally and ensure proper framework is in the place for events to be successful
    3. Supervision of pool deck is particularly important in this position
    4. Assist Management with maintaining company's social media accounts regarding the resort and department
    5. Create and publish all print material related to operations of Activities Department

    Requirements


    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
    High school diploma or equivalent required.
    6 months of Prior Customer Service or related field experience is required. Hospitality experience is preferred.
    Strong Microsoft Office skills preferred, especially in Publisher
    Must be organized, motivated and goal oriented
