    The Executive Director Revenue Optimization will analyze total revenue optimization and channel management to ensure optimization of revenue opportunities, driving the highest possible REVPAR and profit booked across distribution channels.  The Executive Director will lead analysis that determines which product (e.g. promotion/room types) are successful in which channels to ensure MGM Resorts has the optimal exposure across distribution channels. The Executive Director and their team will develop techniques and methods to inform marketing resource decisions (e.g. media spend, email campaign) based upon the booking window of individual channels or segments and the demand situation at each property.   This individual will build a world class Channel Management Analytics team and define its required technology and toolset.

    All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and MGM Resorts policies, practices and procedures.

    • Provide leadership and guidance in the development of concepts, strategies, planning, implementation, and coordination for Channel Management activities
    • Utilize third party data sources (STR, LVCVA, Travelclick) to benchmark hotel revenue performance, as appropriate
    • Partner with internet and loyalty marketing departments to provide insights on demand/need periods and booking windows for each property/segment to improve marketing resource allocation.
    • Perform analysis to better understand the total revenue contribution and estimated acquisition costs from various distribution channels in order to help drive the most profitable market mix
    • Develop analytical framework to evaluate success based upon incremental bookings/revenue generated vs. the promotional cost.
    • Utilize web and call center data to improve rate decisions by estimating true demand for certain stay patterns
    • Keep abreast of new features and functionality released within our web experience management and analytics platforms and recommend how to best utilize these grow our capabilities
    • Works with digital team to ensure tracking needed for pricing optimization is being captured and available for reporting
    • Identifies and  performs due diligence around insight areas
    • Continuously investigates new profit and revenue growth opportunities
    • Manage Human Resources responsibilities for the specifically assigned areas; create and maintain a work environment that promotes client service, teamwork, performance feedback, individual recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction ensuring quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that encompass the company's diversity commitment
    • Communicates and reviews findings with Vice President of Revenue Optimization and Channel Management Analytics and business partners
    • Networks externally to seek innovation
    • Other job-related duties as requested



    • 9+ years' experience in Channel Management / Analytics
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or Business Management or related field or equivalent education and experience
    • 9+ years subject area expertise (e.g., industry or function)
    • Proven track record of driving business performance through operational insights and analytics
    • Previous experience leading teams


    • Experience in hospitality operations
    • MBA or MS degree preferred with quantitative orientation
    • Bilingual, English as the primary or secondary language
    • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting
