Requirements:
Responsibilities for this specialist role in our Financial Institutions practice include obtaining and analyzing information and data, communicating results, and formulating recommendations, may manage client engagements to include the planning, scheduling, oversight and ensuring completion of all required work, and provides training and direction to assigned staff, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Additional Responsibilities:
Completing and leading IT examinations
Verbal and written communications with clients and internal personnel
Assisting IT examination leaders and partners with scheduling and client concerns
Providing assistance, as needed, to the service line leader
Collect and analyze relevant data through obtaining records and effectively interviewing client personnel
Prepare work papers and documentation in conformance with the firm’s quality control standards
Produce written reports which clearly, appropriately, and accurately communicate engagement results.
Respond to client inquiries within 24 hours in a positive and professional manner
Maintain ongoing communication with engagement manager and/or performance coach
Train, mentor, and provide direction to assigned staff.
Participate in the Continuing Professional Education program, essential to continued professional growth.
Position will work 42-45 hours per week
Uses personal vehicle to travel on a daily basis
Qualifications for this role include:
2-5 years of experience with IT, audit, or operations in a financial institution
Requires a business related degree or a combination of education and related work experience
Understanding of IT processes, strategies, and techniques
Preferred understanding of financial institution IT-related laws, regulations, and regulatory expectations
Specialty certification preferred
Helpful to have an understanding of IT controls, best practices, auditing and operations particularly related to financial institutions
Strong communication skills
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Good time management skills
Ability to develop good working relationships both internally and externally
Ability to maintain client confidentiality, personal objectivity, and professional skepticism
Ability to develop good working relationships both internally and externally

This position will require up to 30% travel.
