    Department Description:

     

    The department provides financial reporting, accounting, planning, budgeting, and financial compliance and auditing for the company.

     

     

    High Level Job Description: 

     

    Position will partner with the business unit Director and their Finance team to assist with a broad range of Finance activities.

     

     

    Detailed Job Description/ Responsibilities:

     

    MARKETING Ð 50%

    Marketing Budget research- account for costs posted to project

    Marketing Journal entries

    Follow up with depts. regarding status of budget usage/POs and invoices paid

    Send out budget updates

    Serve as contact for PO coding inquiries, troubleshooting

    Serve as contact for budget status inquiries, ie: how much is my budget, how much do I have left

    Update sales in marketing budgets

    Run BI marketing reports for status updates

    Create new budget pages

    SALES Ð 10%

    Update weekly soundscan reports Ð PV, Weekly soundscan grids, create grids for new projects

    Enter Digital sales at month end

    Distribute copies of sales reports when needed

    NEW BUSINESS Ð 20%

    Update QTD Online Merch & Retail Merch sales in New Business file weekly for present view

    Update New business file with current tour dates & QTD tour supply sales weekly for PV

    Update comparisons in the New Business file after flash is submitted

    Input Retail merch actuals into New Business file for month-end close

    Make copies of checks received & coded

    Send copies of checks to appropriate person

    Mail coded checks to lockbox

    Various Ð 15%

    JVs

    Update JV actuals in JV file for month-end close

    ROYALTIES

    Assist in researching royalty rates

     

    General Department Admin Duties Ð 5%

     

                   
    Required Competencies/Skills:

     

    • Excel
    • Detail-oriented
    • Diligent
    • Able to multi-task

     

    Special Requirements/Preferences:

     

    • SAP experience a plus
