    A Barista in The Café greets, prepares and takes guests' orders for beverages and/or food in a friendly, courteous, professional and timely manner to ensure total guest satisfaction.

    Our guests start their day with their favorite coffee house beverage and a light breakfast enjoying majestic views of Squaw Peak Lawn on the Cafe's terrace or grab something light to go choosing from a selection of delicate breakfast pastries, sumptuous sandwiches and nutritionally-balanced salads. The Café offers a wide assortment of beverages including coffee drinks made to order, still and sparking water, wine and beer.

    Prior Barista experience preferred but not required. Must be 19 in order to server/pour alcohol. Must be available 7 days a week for any shift starting at 4:30 AM, 6:00 AM or 10:30 AM to close/6:30 PM. $7.00 per hour plus 5% pooled bonus of all gross daily sales and any additional tips that our guests should leave.

    What will I be doing:

    • Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner

    • Upsell Additional Items to enhance profitability

    • Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials

    • Take guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system -

    • Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner

    • Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service

    • Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations

    • Ensure serving station is well-stocked at all time

    • Performs General Cleaning Tasks to adhere to health and safety standards
