Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and at least 7 years of experience in finance and/or accounting.
- At least 1 year experience participating or leading financial forecasting, budgeting, and financial model development processes.
- At least 1 year experience developing justifications for capital expenditures.
- Experience with GAAP and financial statement analysis.
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Office 2003 or later: Word (for example: creating and modifying text styles, numbering and sorting lists, working with sections and columns, formatting tables, and using templates and using diagrams and drawing tools), Excel (for example: formatting text and borders of cells, working with workbooks and worksheets, using range names, referencing cells, sorting, and auto filtering) and PowerPoint (for example: creating presentations, adding and removing slides, entering and formatting text, applying design templates, modifying masters, inserting graphics and objects, creating handouts).
- At least 5 years experience planning, developing, and managing departmental expense and capital budgets.
- At least 5 years experience directly managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work.
- Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a managed care, PBM, hospital, or healthcare services environment.
- Master's degree in Accounting or Finance, or MBA
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Preferred certification in Public Accounting as granted by state Accounting Board.
- Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel 2003 or later (for example: using multiple sheets and workbooks, logical Operators (for example: 'AND' and 'OR'), creating charts, and pivot tables).
- At least 3 years of experience participating or leading financial forecasting, budgeting, financial model development processes.

Job Summary
The Director, Finance directly supports infusion and respiratory services business unit working in partnership with business unit executives/Business Unit President. Responsibilities include as development of financial forecasts and resource allocation in support of business goals, providing subject matter expertise and guidance regarding all finance related decisions and providing guidance and counsel in development of long range plans involving strategy development, resource allocation, work plans, timelines and financial outcomes.
Job Responsibilities (in order of importance and/or time spent):
- Develops financial forecasts and resource allocation plans in support of division goals.
- Provides subject matter expertise and guidance regarding all finance related decisions.
- Provides guidance and counsel in development of long range plans involving strategy development, resource allocation, work plans and timelines and financial outcomes.
- Oversees financial aspects of vendor negotiations, funding issues and related efforts.
- Develops financial models, forecasts, proposals, presentations and performance measures to provide confidence to executives regarding financial decisions.
- Oversees Financial and/or other support staff as necessary for department operations.
