Mbombela Local Municipality and the Tshwane University of Technology’s Department of Tourism Management are pleased to announce the 2010 International Conference on Global Sustainable Tourism. This conference has been scheduled to take place at the Bundu Country Lodge, Mbombela, South Africa, from 15 to 19 November 2010.
The aim of the conference is to provide tourism scholars, practitioners, and other stakeholders with an opportunity to explore and debate issues relating to sustainable practices in tourism. There is a fantastic selection of international keynote speakers such as Kelly Bricker, David Fennell, Michael Hall, John Fletcher, Jafar Jafari, Fevzi Okumus, Muzaffer Uysal and David Weaver and as well as local academic leaders such as Ernie Heath, Melville Saayman, Anna Spenceley and Albert Strydom. This conference offers a unique networking opportunity for scholars, industry experts, practitioners, government officials and policy makers to exchange ideas and information.
