The Rezidor Hotel Group, the Brussels-based hotel management company, announces the opening of its new property in Jordan - the Radisson SAS Tala Bay Resort, Aqaba.
The Radisson SAS Tala Bay Resort, Aqaba offers 336 guestrooms, including Business Class and connecting family rooms, junior suites and one-bedroom suites, all with balcony views overlooking the Red Sea. Other features of the hotel include free high-speed and wireless Internet access, five heated pools, Nemo Kids Club for ages four to twelve, an outdoor fitness center, a private 4,000 square-foot beach and a golf course and spa to open in 2009. As an addition, guests can partake in the many water sports offered at the resort including jet skiing, water skiing, windsurfing and parasailing.
Situated on the banks of the Red Sea, Aqaba offers visitors one of the world's best diving and snorkelling locations to view Aqaba's world-class coral reefs. Travelers to this location can experience more then just sun and sand with experiential activities. The Radisson SAS Tala Bay Resort allows guests to mix history and culture with their beach vacations as it serves as a base to discover additional areas of Jordan. The ancient city of Petra, full of archaeological treasures and classified as a UNESCO world heritage site and the desert valley of Wadi Rum are a day trip away from the resort.

Included is the all day dining Aziab restaurant featuring international cuisine and a live cooking station, Heatwave, an outdoor modern restaurant serving Mediterranean dishes, the indoor Kenzi lounge, the in-pool Dugout Bar and the open air Baywatch outlet provides self service snacks and a variety of cold drinks, while the Sunset Deck serves grilled food options.
