Amadeus, a leading global technology and distribution partner for the travel and tourism industry, today announced an expanded partnership with SAP AG, the world's leading provider of business software*, to market an enhanced travel management and expense solution for corporations.
Made up of the travel expense management functionality in the SAP(R) Travel Management application and Amadeus e-Travel Management, this approach responds to customer demand for open, modular travel management solutions that can work with their existing chosen expense systems rather than alternative stand-alone platforms. It also brings corporations the benefits of regular automatic upgrades of Amadeus e-Travel Management, which will be fully compatible with their SAP solution-based environments.
This solution, built on the long-term partnership between Amadeus and SAP, is available now and will be marketed by both companies to corporations worldwide, including existing customers of SAP Travel Management.
