  • Lanyon Adds Powerful Functionality for Corporate Travel Managers and Provides Corporate Sales Focus with a New Vice President

Lanyon, Inc. (www.lanyon.com), the leading, independent provider of content management and distribution technology to the global hotel industry, today announced the planned growth of its Exchange for Business corporate travel management software solution along with the hiring of a senior sales executive, Morissa Pawl, as Vice President of Corporate Sales.

The expanded Exchange for Business solution will include mission critical bid renegotiation functionality, expanded reporting capabilities and other customer driven enhancements tailored to needs of corporate travel departments in managing the RFP bid process. 'Lanyon interviewed travel management leaders across the Fortune 500. Our primary goal was to include the most critical functionality needed by travel managers as they seek to drive value through the RFP bid process,' stated Chris Wichers, COO for Lanyon.

Morissa comes to Lanyon from RFP Express, where she held the role of corporate sales. During Morissa's career she managed and owned various travel agencies. As Vice President of Corporate Sales for Lanyon, she will help spearhead the launch of Lanyon's expanded corporate RFP solution and leverage her experience and knowledge in this segment to formulate strategies and correspondingly, drive growth.

'Morissa brings a tremendous amount of value as we align with corporate travel planners,' stated Wichers. 'We were looking for a seasoned professional with hands-on experience in travel management, travel sales and corporate purchasing processes. Morissa more than met these criteria.'
